In this policy, we explain what personal data we process when you visit our website or contact us, why we do that and what rights you have.

2. What personal data do we process
We process personal data in two ways.
2.1 Data that you provide yourself
When you book a demo through the booking window on our website (a Google Calendar appointment page, part of Google Workspace) or contact us by e-mail, we may receive the following information:
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number (optional)
- Company name (optional)
- Message
The booking page is provided by Google. You enter your details there yourself, and only the information you choose to share reaches us.
2.2 Data that is automatically created when using the website
When you visit the website, technical data may arise, such as:
- IP address
- Browser and device type
- Pages you visit and general usage statistics
- Language preference and context for the operation of the multilingual site
This information is typically necessary for the website to function properly, to keep it secure and to ensure performance.
3. Why do we process this data
We process personal data for the following purposes:
A. Answer your question or get in touch
When you contact us, we use your information to respond and follow up.
B. Making the website function and secure
The website is hosted by Vercel and loads its own scripts and assets to make pages and interactions work. The booking window loads a Google Calendar appointment page from Google Workspace, and only when you open it.
C. Supporting multilingualism
The site contains multiple languages (nl BE and en) and uses language context to show you the correct version.
4. Legal basis
Depending on the situation, we rely on:
- Execution of an agreement or pre-contractual steps (e.g. dealing with your question)
- Legitimate interest (e.g. basic security, making the site work technically)
- consent where required by law (e.g. if you would add unneeded trackers later)
Please note: when you book a demo or send us an e-mail, we process the details you provide in order to follow up on your request.
This does not automatically replace separate consent for marketing or tracking.
5. Who do we share data with
We only share personal data when necessary to make the website work or process your request.
Processors and service providers
- Vercel (hosting and website infrastructure)
- Google Workspace (appointment scheduling via Google Calendar, and e-mail)
6. Transfer outside the EEA
Vercel and Google are international service providers. This means that personal data can be processed outside the EEA (e.g. United States), depending on their infrastructure. Both explain this in their privacy and data processing documentation, and rely on the safeguards required by law, such as standard contractual clauses.
7. Retention periods
We do not keep personal data longer than necessary. Guidelines:
- Contact requests: as long as necessary to handle your question and then only as long as it is useful or legally required
- Technical log data: according to the standard retention periods of the platform services used, for security and operation only.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. Hosting and platform security are also supported by the service providers used (such as Vercel and Google).
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right, among other things, to:
- Access
- Improvement
- Deletion
- Restriction of processing
- Objection
- Data portability
You can exercise these rights by emailing us at michiel@archerandsummit.com.
